Kiss of the Nomads
The myth of the “kiss of the nomads”… Long ago there was a nomadic people living within a certain mountain range within the Middle East who developed a unique form of communication that transcends spoken language – the art of kissing. As the story goes, despite living in a natural paradise, they struggled with misunderstandings and conflicts. Their shaman, after consulting with the mountain spirits, came to a surprising conclusion: the air itself was distorting their words, changing their meaning as they traveled from mouth to ear. The solution was both simple and profound – communicate through kisses. Mouth to mouth, there was no way for the air to intervene and contort their intended message. Over time, this practice evolved into the very fabric of their society and at night, they formed circles to share stories and poetry lip to lip.
